Manual Failover Across LAN or WAN

While replicating data in real-time to local and remote locations, ProReplicator can also handle manual failover within a LAN or across WAN regardless of the distance between the Primary and the Secondary stations. The built-in DNS setup of ProReplicator assists you to easily configure the server redirect function so that your network users can continue their server access when the Primary station fails.

ProReplicator provides an easy-to-use user interface for a failover or Test-Data setup. Once a Test-Data setup is configured, you may start a failover or test data on Replica at any time with one mouse click.

For example, as shown in picture below, the Master stations are located on the west and east coast of US, the Replica station can be in the middle of the land to receive replicated data in real-time and function as the Failover target server.
